This Romantic painter of cityscapes and landscapes received his artistic education from his father, the renowned artist, JF Christ. He lived first in Nijmegen and then later in Arnhem and gained notoriety for his highly detailed landscape paintings. Today his work is represented in the Municipal Museum in Arnhem and the Municipal Museum in Nijmegen.
