Mosse Stoopendaal received his artistic training from his father Georg Stoopendaal who was an accomplished artist. Mosse Stoopendaal became one of Sweden's best-known wildlife painters. He was able to capture the essence of animals as they lived in the wild, often he painted these scenes onto a very impressionistic back-drop isolating the subject and heightening the sense of wilderness.
