Hugo Ofverstrom (1900 - 1973) Swedish
Born in 1900 in a small village to the North of Gothenburg, Ofverstrom attended the Valand Academy of Fine Art. He visited the United States from 1923-28 perfecting his technique as he travelled. Upon his return he painted mostly in the Bohuslan Archipelago which was a perfect location for his accomplished Impressionistic scenes featuring dappled colours reflecting in the water.
